The Retas awards bring the greetings card industry together, every year to recognise and celebrate those who have excelled in the category over the past 12 months. This year, the event took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London and hopeful nominees travelled from around the country to attend.
Among those who attended were the fantastic card buying team from Tesco, who were proud to WIN the award of Best Supermarket Retailer of Greetings Cards for 2022 for the first time since 2017! James McIntosh, Business Manager – Tesco UK & Ireland proudly says “I’m delighted to share the news that Tesco won the award of ‘Best Supermarket Retailer of Greetings Cards for 2022’”. This award acknowledges supermarkets who have shown exceptional commitment to Greetings Cards over the last year in terms of range, customer service, shopping environment and marketing. “Whilst the award itself was presented to our customer Tesco, their Cards buying team made it very clear that this is a win for both businesses and extended their appreciation to UKG for helping to drive their category forward.”
