UK Greetings are delighted to announce the signing of a deal with Silvergate Media, the global licensing agent for Peter Rabbit™ on behalf of Penguin Ventures (part of Penguin Random House UK), that will see the addition of the Classic Peter Rabbit license, bringing the charm of one of the oldest licensed characters in history by Beatrix Potter to our acclaimed portfolio.
Beatrix Potter is one of the world’s best-loved children’s authors, with her stories delighting children for over 110 years with over two million books sold every year – approximately 4 copies per minute. Since its publication in 1902, The Tale of Peter Rabbit has never been out of print and has sold over 40 million copies worldwide.
Peter Rabbit is a heritage property filled with charm, giving it a timeless quality that makes it ideal for greeting cards and gift-wrap, appealing to consumers young and old.
