The Race at Work Charter helps businesses improve racial equality in the workplace. Today, we are proud to announce that UK Greetings is now a signatory! With the partnership of Business in the Community and our commitment to the five principles set out in the Charter, we are ready to learn, share best practice and take action!
The Race at Work Charter is made up of five principles to make sure organisations overcome the barriers to BAME (black, Asian and minority ethnic) recruitment and progression. By signing the charter, UK Greetings is committed to:
- Appointing an Executive Sponsor
- Continuing to gather data and publicise progress
- Continuing to communicate and instill a zero tolerance of harassment and bullying within the workplace
- Make equality in the workplace the responsibility of all leaders and managers
- Take action that helps ethnic minority career progression
